About this website

	This website was created by Bob Florian in autumn 2004. Bob wrote the HTML and PHP scripts and setup the MySQL databases. The website grew as new riders and features were added over the years. The animated GIF and many of the pictures in the gallery are Bob's creations.
Bob retired from Fermilab in 2006 and moved up to beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. Bob stays busy up there and has created a new website to record bike miles... check out http://bicyclelogonline.com/. Before he left Bob turned over the keys of the website to Jamieson.

Dec 2004 : 23 riders logged 9553 miles in 2004
Jun 2005 : Article in Fermilab Today
Dec 2005 : 73 riders logged 54801 miles in 2005
Mar 2006 : Bob Florian retires
Jun 2006 : Chicago Bicycle Federation's Bike to Work Week.  
           48 Fermilab employees participate and log 2170 miles.
Aug 2006 : 100,000 miles logged!
Dec 2006 : switch over to new website design
Dec 2006 : 68 riders logged 56392 miles in 2006
           Out of the 110 riders who signed up and 98 are riding 
           and entering data!
